Default Copy songs from iphone to computer & adding lyrics automatically.

We know that songs can be copied from the computer to the ipod but very few know that it works the other way round. Some people who know eventually give up due to the complicated process. This is a rather simple and easy tutorial to do the same.

    What do you need ?
Ipod touch / iphone (not necessary jailbroken)
    Ifunbox
    http://www.i-funbox.com/images/download.gif

    Itunes (Installed)

Once you have all the above connect your ipod to the computer and shoot up ifunbox. I funbox is like a file manager for iphone. It helps you copy and delete files present in the raw system directory of the ipod. This is how it should look.

It should show you you're ipod to the left and other system directories. Now scroll down and double click on private.
    Navigate private/var/mobile/media/itunes_controll

Open the music directory Then select option copy to from the navigation bar and place it in any folder on any of your drive.

The only problem is that itunes renames all the files before it transfers it to the ipod. So songs are renamed randomly (Any four alphabets) and are then copied to the ipod. When you add them to itunes you can see the description of the songs. So as long as you have proper tags and descriptions on your song you shouldn't have problems. Add them and then sync them back up to the ipod. This method can also be used to install cracked applications in iphone. If you have installous installed and know where the download folder is just copy the cracked ipa file there. Restart installous and install.

You should also check this software -

    itunes friend
    iTunesFriend | Google Groups
(automatically find lyrics for your songs)

when you have itunes running.Shoot up itunes friend highlight the songs in itunes and select get lyrics from the lyrics tab in itunes friend. It will find the lyrics for the highlighted songs in just 10-15 seconds. Saves you a hell lot of time.Sometimes the lyrics do go wrong but its just one or two in hundred.

Both above tutorials are self experienced and i have never faced a problem.

Interesting post. Unfortunately I tried installing iTunes Friend with nil success. I tried both versions, and in each case they installed but crashed immediately when I tried to start the program. I tried the Windows "Troubleshoot Compatibility" function on both which recommended running it in Windows XP service pack 2 mode: same result, start up the program, instant crash.

For reference I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64bit as my operating system.

Pity - this could be very useful to me if I could get the program to run. Has anybody got any suggestions for anything I could do to get it to work? Or has anybody tried the program successfully in Windows 7 Professional 64bit?

I've emailed the iTunes Friend google group regarding this isuue, but I thought it was worth asking here too.

    Thanks.
