Thread: How to make Strong Password !!

OK, so you have strong passwords and they usually are not so easy to remember. What if, say, you have 10 forum accounts and you want to log in one of them from a friend's PC (so you don't have any software that remembers your passwords)? Should you use the same strong password for 10 account?

I posted this on the last page but didn't get a response.........

I've never understood why passwords need to be so strong. I could understand with an ATM password, but why with a tracker? I've had a bank account that required a 4 digit password whereas most trackers require 7 with letters, numbers, & special charactors. How in the world could somebody that doesn't know you guess what your password could be or want to take the time to figure it out unless they're trying to rip you off for some big bucks?

what if your passwords is cracked and you get banned on every tracker you have cause the cracker start yelling shi* in forums and hit*n run whit gbit line??? funny you think ehe??

But my point is how would someone even crack your password. Is there some program called "Password Cracker" or some shit? Even if there was I don't see why someone would go through the trouble to do so.... Just for a bittorrent tracker account????

there is a lot of ppl around the world that dont have anything better to do then just hacking sites / .. try resolve usernames passwords..dont ask me how they do but im quiet sure it happens on a daily basis..if you put up a test site it will probally just be hrs before someone tries to hack it...

took about 40 minutes for me after it was online some year ago...till someone found it and tried to break it...

But why though.... If you're smart enough to hack someones' password, why would you waste your time on a tracker instead of going to someones' bank account?

why we can wonder i dont have a clue why..maybe not smart enough or thats not the point/meaning of it...guess trouble is as for this thread started there is so many ppl using both same username and same password everywhere
