I am sure that some of you upon trying to install new applications to your mobile you get the Certificate Error/ Certificate Expired upon installing. After reading a couple of threads i've learned that there are some .sis applications that can solve it, such as FreeSigner or MobileSigner. I tried the FreeSigner but with no luck.
And then i've found the old chinese site OPDA. So i will try the best i can to explain the process in order to solve that god damn error and freely install your mobile applications.
1. go to this page http://cer.opda.cn/en and then hit the Register button.
2. After the registration is complete, log in to your account and then hit the Apply Cer button.
3. A new page will show up with some details about your mobile phone model, IMEI and a remark cases that are to be filled.
To find your mobile's phone IMEI, just hit *#06# on your phone and... there you go.
After that just hit the Submit application button.
4. After submitting your current status will be of Applying. Usually you have to wait for like 30 minutes for it to change status to Normal. For me it took only 15 minutes or so...
5. Check again your account there, after at least 12 hrs, and if your status is Normal you'll be able to download both your certificate and your key.
And there you go.
6 ** optional -- if you like you can sign your mobile applications online on the same site using your Signing Softs option.
Just select your Cer, and then upload your .sis application from your computer, and then download the signed application from OPDA.
Tested with these 3 applications on a Nokia 5800 XM :
Free-iSMS_v103
ThinkChange.FingerPrint.v1.20
EyeSight EyeCall.v1.04
