ok, here i was given, how to create a invisible folder
    please follow the method
    1. Have a folder
    2. Place it on your desktop
    3. Right click the folder and select properties
    4. Click the 'CUSTOMIZE' tab
    5. Click 'CHANGE ICON'
    6. Select the blank icon choice
    7. It should have no icon now
    8. Highlight the text in the folder name
    9. While it is highlighted, hold down 'ALT' and while holding down 'ALT', press in order, 0160 (in the number pad)
    10. Then press 'ENTER' and there should be no text.

i hope it could be helpful of all my T-I friends

    THANKS

Wouldn't it be easier to just right-click on a folder, select properties and then select the "hidden" attribute? Or am I missing something...

This is one of those really old tricks i never understood and still dont. I mean its a cool thing to do and all, but whats the point? I rather just encrypt my folder if i didnt want anyone to get to it. Anyway, all u need to do is press F5 to refresh the Desktop and u will see the folder. Hold down F5 and u will get to see the folder for as long as u want. Thanks for the tutorial though.

OrangeArmy yes, it's easer, bu your way is known by everybody and simple to find. bogbog idea is just better if you want to hide something and you don't want anyone to find it.

That's a great idea. Now all of my "sensitive" material is hidden away in an external hardrive through a bunch of other nonsense folders and hidden.

I don't think this is such a good idea, wouldn't all u have to do is press CTRL+A then ENTER to open it? Not very safe if you do have stuff u want private. I would rather encrypt it and make it hidden than this. TrueCrypt ftw! I have an app running that I press WINDOWS + H to show and unshow hidden folders, dont have "sensitive" files just hate clutter so hide folders that I don't want to delete but dont want to see.

Now here is a great question: how do you delete it? I just tried it, and I can't seem to rename or delete the folder.

    Try this Core;
Open up Command Prompt (cmd.exe) (run as administrator)

    Type: dir /x

This Will show all files in that directory, the folder you are trying to delete (ALT+0160) should be there as 0A00~1. (this is the folders SFN)

To remove it type: rd 0a00~1

This should do it, even though it doesn't have a visible name it still has a name that your computer can see. Let me know if this works out, it should though.

Edit: Original Poster really should have said it would be difficult to delete, since he didn't respond to your first post I'm guessing he doesn't know how in which case he shouldn't have posted this.
