Thread: Play MW2 on legit steam servers for free

With this patch I can successfully play online, but I go through heaps of lag and then disconnect with it saying "Server timed out" "Unable to connect to host".

Wow, I'm going to have to try this out. Now if we can only figure out how to run a dedicated server and still get rankings like we could with previous games...

i have mw2 alteriw.net its a crack for mw2 2 play online but i have a problem with them im banned from them cuz of bad posts
and now on this crack i get an error "connecting to iwnet"
then iwnet invided version what do i do ??
plzz help

Although the demo exploit is no longer active ( Iwin patched it a long time ago) there is a site out there called alterIWnet • Portal. when u get on the site u will find the how to connect which i will write here soon and the only thing u have to do is to register on the site... Btw they already have dedicated servers so enjoy...

And i quote the how to play/connect:




Extract the archive with your favourite archiver.
Use alterIWNet_configure.exe to set your nickname.
Run iw4mp.exe and wait for the latest updates to be fetched.
Play.

IQ of over 60 (No need for link. You can't install the game without this)

Microsoft .Net 3.5 Framework - in the Torrent or on Microsoft.com
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - in the Torrent or on Microsoft.com

i knw about alteriw but im banned from it cuz of bad posts and etc on the fourms and thats why i need a steam version
