    Default Shut down ur computer in 1 second!!!!!!!!!!!

    press ctrl+alt+delete.this opens the task manager.
    in the task manager under the category shutdown hold ur ctrl button and click on turn off and watch ur computer get shutdown in 1 second.

    This isn't the right way to shut down, this basically forces your system to turn off without saving anything or closing apps, it is the equivalent of holding down the power button, shutting the computer down this way many times is not good, and can destroy your data.

    indeed, it's not very good for your hard drives...

    I don't really like it either that my computer takes so long to shut down (certainly using vista!), but if you think about it: it doesn't really matter, does it?

    If you have any removable drives (usb) this will cause write errors and may corrupt them.

    This can affect almost any drive that's plugged in, if there is data being written or read and the computer abruptly shuts off, the drives can be corrupted.
