    Default Movie Organization

I found this very tutorial very useful from this forum .

This is an amazing (Freeware, donate if you like) program to fellow movie lovers.

    Found here:
    Personal Video Databse - Home

This program will scan your hard drive for movies and/or television shows and add them to a nice little gui. You will have covers, imdb info, etc. I have a screen shot to show you.

It's free of charge, so you can use it without any restrictions.

With Personal Video Database you can catalog your movie collection fast and easy. Thought-out user interface and different database management function make it easy to create and manage big movie databases. Powerful filtering, grouping and sorting help you find movies very fast.

The program is expandable with plugins. There are already plenty of plugins included with the installation that can help you retrieve movie information from different internet movie databases or other database formats.

Other important features of Personal Video Database include Loan management, full Unicode support and many more.

So now all you have to do is find a movie you want to watch, right click and watch.
You can tell if which movies in your collection you have seen and which you have not. Also you can search your collection by genre, director, actor, etc.

p.s. all credits goes to the original author..m just sharing

Pls add reps if you like this tutorial :) __________________

The searchfunction doesn't seem to work at all for me. I press ctrl F or Tools->scan folder for new movies... and then I browse to my map with movies but nothing happens.

How do you do when you search?
