Thread: Tying shoelaces - The Ian Knot - What a Gem

If you want your kids to leave you alone while you are on Torrent Invites, get them to practice the Ian Knot shown in this Utube video.

I don't know who Ian is, but what a brilliant way of tying your laces. I have not tied my shoelaces any other way since I found out how to do it.
Try it, before you slate this post, you will like it once you have mastered the art of it.
you don't even have to tie a double knot as it is self locking.

How many hours did you waste tying shoelaces as a kid only for them to keep coming undone? Its brilliant!!

If the kids still won't leave you alone and they cannot master the technique then you already should have the string that they are practicing with. Just tie them up, job done!
