Not sure how many of you have heard of Day Z, but it is a mod for ARMAII that may be one of the most "realistic" zombie survival games I have ever played. You start off with just your bare hands and must sneak your way into towns, past the hordes of zombies in hopes to find the supplies you need to survive. This includes drinks, food, ammo, weapons, vehicle parts, blood, morphine.... anything that can help you survive. This is the story of my first day in Day Z.
So making a blog every few days is a not possible for me. Between work, working out, getting ready for the next day, and playing games with friends I don't really have the time during the week. So instead I am just going to make weekly summaries on my journey.
This week was tough, it took a while for my body to get used to doing something every day. I still think the cardio is worse than resistance training. I have found that throughout the week I have been improving, being able to
Let me start this off with the fact that YOGA IS NOT EASY. Doing the cardio/abs on Day 2 really kicked my ass. Today wasn't as bad... I think I enjoy doing the Resistance training more. I am halfway through week 1 and I can already see some weight being lost. Here is a breakdown of what all went on.
- Oatmeal with blueberries for breakfast
- 1 oz of almonds as a snack
- Turkey sandwich for lunch
- Celery with < 2 Tbsp of peanut butter as a snack
It is time for me to get into shape, I have always been a lazy person who ate whatever they wanted and that needs to change. To help me do this I am going to blog my journey to a healthier self, because nothing drives a person harder than peer pressure.
I have already adjusted my eating habits, this is what typical day looks for me food-wise:
1/2 Cup of Plan Oatmeal + Vitamins for Breakfast
Celery w/ Peanut Butter (1-2) stalks for a snack
Turkey sandwich on
