Happy New Years everyone. Although I don't really know anyone here yet, I thought I'd share my recent New Years Eve cab/taxi debacle.
On New Years Eve, the wife and I made plans with one of her gal pals to cab to a hoppin' joint for some drinks and loud music. We had all decided it'd be best to take a cab there and back so that we can all drink plentifully, without worry.
4 hours before we wanted to leave home, I called and made a reservation. 9:30 comes... no cab. I call
