How to use the Lotto! subforum


Please post a thread here if you are donating invites, seedboxes, or VIP to the lotto. This is not a discussion or request forum. Do not post a new thread here except to offer donations to the lotto.



To check that a person has won, simply type "lottowins" in #Torrent-Invites. This command will show the last 10 winners.

Donation posts should be made similar to the format in Area51. If you are offering to donate VIP to five people, your topic should state “5xVIP”. Similarly, invite donations should state, for example, “1xTL”. A seedbox giveaway should simply state “Seedbox”

Seedbox donations must be given for a minimum of one week and must be for the sole use of the winner. You may not offer to share your own box with a member, unless you are willing to fore-go use of the box for the duration of the member’s win.

All seedbox wins are for the duration of one week. If a member donates his box for one month, it will be broken up into four one-week intervals, to be given to four separate winners.

iGiver MUST be given to those who hand out prizes, regardless of the prize type.

If you win, please post in the thread of the person whose prize you would like to accept.

If you win an invite, the invitee has the right and the responsibility to ensure you meet expectations. For instance, if you choose an invite to BitMe, but your inviter feels you won’t be able to keep ratio on that tracker, he has the right to deny you the invite. Winning an invite does not mean you will not have to provide ratio proofs, profile links, or other information.

Do not post multiple types of donations in one thread. For instance, if you are offering to donate a seedbox and VIP, you should post two threads; one for VIP and one for the seedbox. However, you may list several invites in one donation thread.

Recruitment deal rules apply. If it can't be given away, it can't be won in lotto. This includes PTP and WhatCD. However, our recruiters may choose to offer invites here, and in that case, you may win. :P

Prizes are non-transferable. If you win, and are not eligible, you forfeit the prize.
