Thread: House of Leaves

Has anyone else read this incredible book? I have to say the first time through was slightly difficult but I managed to keep up with it ok. Then the second time reading it was even better. One complaint I have is that the footnote thing becomes a bit cumbersome to read after a while, but I've gotten over that. I also really liked the way Danielewski used the shape of the text to suck you into what was going on. I've read the book three times so far and I think I could read it again and still discover new things that I didn't get the first three times through.

It is definitely a fun book to read. I really enjoyed it the couple times I have read it. And yes, Poe is the authors sister. She even wrote a companion album to the novel.
