    Default Stephen King

Hi. I would like to see what books written by him do you recommend me. Eventually make your own 5 or 10 Top SK Books ever. It could also be novels.

For me my top 5 would be:

    1 - The Green Mile
    2 - Pet Sematary
    3 - Salem's Lot
    4 - Carrie
    5 - IT

I think it depends what kind of stories you prefer...horror? thriller?

For me I'm more of a fan of thriller then the horror part and the build up of the stories.

I prefer his short stories but the whole Dark Tower series is rather epic.

If I had to pick 5 that were not short stories or Dark Tower...
    The Tommyknockers
    Christine
    The Stand
    Misery
    Salem's lot

Ask me in a month and the list will change.

I don't think he has really ever made a bad book, Now my friend who doesn't really read would not be someone I give the Stand to, but Night Shift would be a good "get to know" Stephen King book.

I'm reading Misery, the first King book I read and I'm loving it. Which one do you recommend me to read next? The Shinning, Insomnia or Carrie?
