I figure there's comic books in libraries sometimes and there was no thread so I decided to make one!
I'm currently reading the on-going series Invincible, Deadpool, Chew, and Scalped.

In the comic books section I enjoy Sandman a lot (now finished though). Don't care much for the superhero genre personally.
Elf quest is my personal favourite. I've had many hours of blissful exitement with theese magazines :)
Online I'm currently downloading old Captain Marvel (Shazam) comics from the 40s. I'm a big fan of all things Captain Marvel, my avatar is of his mortal enemy Black Adam. But in the section I really love reading Shazam and the rest of his family.

Deadpool is really cool. From Marvel, besides that, I'd recommend X-Men and the new story arc of Spider-Man. And of course, everything from DC (big fan).
These are some of the series' I'm currently reading:
The Walking Dead
Invincible
DMZ
The Punisher Max (the Garth Ennis series)
Incognito
Criminal
We3
There are lots of good comics out there and here are some I like and look for/read periodically.
I tend to buy the graphic novels and not follow a series month to month though.
Older
-----
George Herriman - Krazy Kat is hilarious
Windsor McKay - Little Nemo
Herge - the various adventures of Tintin
Favorite Stories
-------
Chew
Stories by Grant Morrison are generally pretty good (he wrote We3 i believe)
Same for Warren Ellis
Wormwood:Gentleman Corpse - Templesmith's art is cool but makes distinguishing human characters confusing sometimes
Mike Mignola is pretty good : Hellboy, Amazing Screw on head etc... at least entertaining
Chris Ware - if you are in the mood to be depressed pick up Jimmy Corrigan
Brian Ralph is just doing an interesting series called "daybreak" written in the first person about zombies - more of a simplistic art style though
Uzumaki - the best horror comic i've ever read.
Favorites artists:
Enki Bilal - he did some crazy short bits for heavy metal and the Nikopol Trilogy is really really cool
Moebius - "Airtight Garage" = amazing and his collaborations with Alejandro Jodorowsky are really good as well.
Miyazaki - Nausicaa - much longer and better than the film - makes it all make sense.
Kent Williams is one of the best comic book artists out there - "The Fountain" is brilliant.
Huge comic nerd here; particularly the superhero books. But I'll recommend a non-superhero title. "Morning Glories". It's like the first 3 seasons of Lost(when it was good) set in a school. Written by Nick Spencer.
My cousins overseas love that comic and sent me some in color, I heard was rare. I didn't like it though, it was weird, too much sex for kids to read I thought!
My SO reads some graphic novels so I borrowed some of him before... I like Persepolis. and Jimmy Corrigan was cool. Never got people liked superheroes, maybe its a boys thing..
maybe i should try again and dl some, i've never dl'ed any before!
