Make sure you have :

- antivirus that checks once per week your pc for viruses

-firewall that will prevent pinging from other malicious ppl and keep you safe from hackers

-defragment tools and registry fix programs



-optimization tools like system care professional .

Its sure that ur speed will increase if they are not any problems in ur pc !!

The download accelerator doesn't work anymore for some reason. I can set it at max to make 8 connections for example, but it gives me the same speed as if i had 1 connection. It really doesn't matter anymore, but like 4 years ago, it worked wonders.
