First, in the Accounts and Import tab there’s a few useful options. One being the ability to register another gmail account, allowing you to send email from different accounts without signing in and out. You can simply change the outbound address while composing emails from a drop down bar. Of course it also has POP3 ability which allows you to receive emails from other types of email accounts. And if 7gig wasn’t enough space you also have the ability to purchase space up to 400gig.

Next, under the Labels tab, there is the ability to create labels which can be used to easily recall and organize any emails in your inbox.

The next tab is Filters. I use this in conjunction with labels to label any incoming emails that have either a specific word in the text or from a specific person, this is actually a very useful tool for anyone who enjoys an organized inbox, but hates spending a lot of time labeling stuff.

The next useful tool some people don’t know about is under Web Clips. By taking away the one check on this page, you remove all the advertisements around the gmail inbox. That’s right, it’s just that easy.

Last but not least in this article is the Labs section. In here there are tons of add-ons that could easily make up an entire article by themselves. Just a few notable mentions are. Offline: This allows gmail to save emails to a folder on your computer allowing you to use most of the gmail functions while without internet. Mail goggles: This is for the drunk mailers who wish they wouldn’t have sent that letter to their ex Saturday night at 3am, it requires you to answer a few math questions before you can send a letter. Text messaging: Allows you to text any U.S. cell phone and have a text conversation in the google chat. Snake: And of course google had to build in the classic snake game into emailing.

Its my copied data :D
