    Default [MiniGuide] Multiple Firefox

    This is a Mini Guide meant to help those who are frustrated with using multiple browsers to browser tracker sites.

    A brief introduction, and FAQ.

    So have you read about the CSS exploitation thread (http://www.torrent-invites.com/annou...-css-hack.html)? It might be old, but it's still worth reading. Some had posted that you can be more secure by using different browsers. Now let's say if you are reluctant to use different browser, then this solution is for you.

    Q: Why are you making such a stupid topic!? We all know that you can create multiple window of Firefox simply by clicking "Create New Window or Ctrl +N".

    A: That's not it. What I'm going to show you is how to open 2 Firefox windows with different profiles

    Windows User Only
    Step 1: Hit "Win Key + R", a Run window will pop up.
    Step 2: In the run box, type "firefox -p -no-remote" and hit Enter.

    Now, all you need to do is create your own profile. This profile will now be your 'secured' profile for browsing sites. It's up to you to how you can use it. Say, one profile for TI, another for RevTT or etc.

    The benefit of this command is that you can have multiple profile running at once rather than the limitation that you can only run 1 profile one at a time.

    I will be Thankful to you for the post.I am gona use this out but there in Firefox there is also an option or tool available for private and secure browsing that is "Start private Browsing option"
    for using that option or tool just Press "Ctrl + Shift + P" also their is another way of using this goto Firefox --> Tools --> Start private browsing .

    This is slightly different. Private Browsing is restricted to only one window... say if you want to switch back and forth between TI and RevTT, you will need to manually switch off and on the private browsing feature.

    Instead, the above command can overcome this problem.

    Actually I don't quite understand. But there is a flaw when you use Private Browsing only, as it makes no difference if you use the very same sandbox and browse a Tracker and TI. The tracker would still be able to obtain via css leak.

    @mrdum93,

    Please be more specific. If you don't know about the CSS Security leak issue, please read that it's on the first post here.
