Most browsers will allow you to save these as a bookmarks so you can just open the video and click a button on your bookmarks toolbar.

Another good (but unrelated) method for downloading youtube videos is the Easy YouTube Video Downloader which is a Firefox extension that adds you download links for all 3 formats to every video.

As for the Easy Youtube Video Downloader, that doesn't work for me. It says,

"FILENAME.flv could not be saved, because an unknown error occurred.

Try saving to a different location."

This is a bit than the method I usually use:
Download it with keepvid, then convert with Xilisoft Video Converter

Although, I might still have to convert it if I want say just a song and not a video
