First always test something yourself before you start posting some things in here, or at least know for almost a certainty that it works. This way you won't let a noob fuck things up when he sees things like this and thinks he can try this all by himself. =)

Next way easier way to do all that:
Get Mozilla Firefox, Opera or any other third party browser. They are almost all standard way faster than Internet Explorer. =)

IE7 is the worst browser I have ever seen.
Why run all these registry tweaks? Just install a decent browser.
By the way, you should test methods before posting them. :)

Also when you are posting this like this, try to explain why you should do those things and why they help. =)
And it also helps if you understand the matter yourself to, those settings aren't the default without a reason. ;) A lot of what is swarming around on the net that's supposable should speed-up your connection actually slows it down. =)
If you understand more of the matter you can also troubleshoot user that do something wrong and screw everything up you can possibly imagen that could go wrong. =)

Though I you understand what you are doing certainly keep posting these things. =)
Me, myself won't try them out, but others might find it useful. ^^
    Good luck testing. =)

Why bother taking risk to speed up IE???

I stumbled on Opera, IMO it's WAY better than IE and Firefox, speed wise, look, and funtionality (ie: mouse motion recognition or whatever you call it). I have been using it for 2 months, and don't see a single aspect IE is better than Opera.
