The email subject they sent got me really happy and then I found out it was just a message to say my application would take about a day to be approved lol, thank you for this, I've been looking at a few apps for the past few days! :D

This sux, its like using demonoid, when all the time you could have been using torrentleech, waffles etc etc...
Download app called aptoide. Automaticly it adds one repository in the list, wait for it to update app list, there should be 3k+ apps and games in the list, almost about any game and app, for free. Basicly its almost the same as one he mentioned, but the one he mentioned is more closed, uses only one repository and you have to register, where apdtoide uses as many repositorys you add to the list, and you can find them all on bazaar market. Give it a try you wont regret.

mmmm I wouldn't trust anything in the open net. Just go to BG for your android games or waffles/what.cd for apps. They're not big to begin with so no big hits to your ratio really.

For Android apps there are a few places that you can look:

    Blapkmarket:

    - Reasonable selection of apps (server hosted)
    - Fairly reliable: doesn't suffer from much downtime
    - Has it's own app so that you can download directly to your phone (costs $1 donation)

    Applanet:

    - Reasonable selection of apps (server hosted)
    - A bit unreliable: has suffered in the past from downtime issues but recently has been okay
    - Has it's own app which is free
    - Some app versions are mislabled prompting unnecessary updating

    Mobilism:

    - Large selection of apps (cyberlocker hosted)
    - Very reliable: (had a couple of issues when a number of cyberlockers went down but has recovered now)
    - Has it's own app which requires premium membership via the website ($20)

Of the three I tend to use Mobilism first and foremost (it also has an ebook and video section). Even though it is the most expensive I believe it's definitely worth it for the greater range it offers as well as the frequent improvements that are made to the app. Applanet and Blapkmarket are worth having on your phone as backups or for the occasional app that Mobilism doesn't have.
