Hm... I've got the Dropbox beta, got autoplay and WIA support enabled on my Vista machine, a DCIM folder on my USB drive. but the option to upload to dropbox is not listed in the autoplay options... I'm surely missing something. Any suggestions?

These files should never be in the folder that is shown on your dropbox.
If the image files are in that folder, it definitely hasn't been auto-uploaded.
The uploads should be in the folder "Camera Uploads" afterwards and they will be renamed.

    Here's what you do:
    - download this: IMG_1559.rar
    - extract the 4.7GB image file.
    - put this into the DCIM folder of your camera/SD card/USB pen drive or whatever you're using
    - unplug it
    - plug it in again
    - wait for the "auto play" to appear

    - click that button marked in the picture
    - if this doesn't appear, go to My Computer and right-click on the drive with the image file and click "Open AutoPlay..."
    - wait for the thing to retrieved and indexed. While this is happening you see a tiny camera icon instead of the dropbox icon.
    - enjoy you're new space.
Nice. Worked like a charm +5GB extra space

They're sort of on a second phase of the beta. For people that start now, the max is 3 gigs. For people that started before, if you haven't gotten to 5 gigs yet, you still can.

Are you asking if you can only do this once per account? Yes, you can't get more than 5GB.

Nice info. I think Dropbox crew has to increase GB amount to everybody if they want to stay competitive.
