Thread: I've a problem with waffles, please help

Hi everybody, I have been invited to waffles yesterday. I downloaded a couple of cd's and upload a couple more, so I'm sharing 4 cd's.



but, I don't know what's happening because my upload speed freezes in 1-2 kb/s sometimes it raises up to 10 kb/s.

If I start to share files in demonoid the upload speed it's 60-70 kb/s.

Any suggestions to solve the problem?

ok well i'm not a member of waffles but all the invite offers i've seen have all mentioned this tracker is notoriously hard to seed at. If you look at your screen shot you can see right there that you have no leechers leeching of you from 3 of those torrents & only 1 on the other 2. you also have to keep in mind the people leeching of you could have low download speeds or multiple downloads going at the same time. also look at the eminem cd it has 335 seeders so your chances of getting some of that action are small.

There are several factors as to why your upload speed not be fast. Based upon the screen print, you are connected to 1 peer (Riverside song) and that peer may have a very slow connection.

it is so-called hard to seed tracker like waffles,what,bitme,bitmetv etc.

my answer: you did'nt pick up good torrent files to seed,eapecially without seedbox.

you should get access to TOP 10 ASAP.

you just seed top ten small torrents.

you may get much more leechers than you got now.

I've been struggling with waffles as well. I joined them recently and figured I would to download something from a different tracker and seed there to make a buffer. So I downloaded 2 software torrents from TPB that I saw very active on waffles and did a re-check, all went well except for one of the torrents had a few files that were different so I skipped those files and it passed the check as well. I've been trying to seed this stuff for 3 days now with no luck at all and both torrents have 40+ peers.

Waffles and also what.cd, are the best music trackers, but also 2 of the ones where is kinda hard to seed.

On waffles, you'll not be able to upload too much, especially in one day. Is not that easy like... TranceTraffic par example where you can seed back alot, you have to seed long time to make your buffer bigger, you have to have patience.


Also, if you have a relatively good connection, you can hunt those DCP comic torrents, they are popular, and if you download couple hundreds of MB from a new one, you could get a nice buffer.

Follow the link, exliability provided, is a good tutorial to follow. And also you have to anticipate the torrents that are going to be popular, when you want to buffer your account. If you are going to download many fresh torrents, you risk to download for nothing, because there are newly added torrents that are not even snatched one time.

As my suggestion, search what type of torrents are more popular (those hot torrents mentioned in Subkar's tutorial), and wait for a new one in that category and download it.

To enforce a tip, im going to write it down again, do not get fooled by the torrents with many leechers, especially when they have a big size. If the torrent has more than couple of seeders, if its 1 day old, be sure that, the respective leechers are partial seeders.

Yeah I totally fell for that. It's been like this for the past three days:

Waffles is really, really hard to seed on and you can't compare it to Demonoid. It's like comparing apples and oranges. The best thing you can do is download stuff during freeleech and let it seed forever.

My trick to Waffles is to just find something they don't already have. Which in itself is a daunting task. I spent three hours a few nights ago going through my physical collection of music racking my brain trying to find stuff they're lacking. I did not do well lol. Also, fill requests. Waffles is like any other place, some people are either too dumb or lazy to use Google to find things. Browse the requests section, find something easy that Google will turn up, download it and fill their request. That'll also get you more points.
