How do i browse the web without being censored.

hi, i beleive the best way is to start up a vpn service (virtual private networking)
is that free.
could i get a link to the best one?
or just name it?
thanks so much
you can try CyberGhost, the free version comes with 1gb traffic per month i think..you can try this one.
REason i asked for this is that i thought the search engines block certain keywords.
but i just tryed using the service and still no change in what search engine brought up.
So whats the big deal with VPN?
hi AllAround, i got help here at t-I and set up vpn through my dedi- server
that way when brousing i use ip location of server not isp provider. if you can afford i seedbox i think its well worth looking into! i am not using vpn all the time as have noticed browsing is some what slower as all trafic goes through server first hope this helps
If a search engine blocks something than the only way out is to use another search engine, no programs will help you since it's a search engine who decides what to show and what's not.Originally Posted by AllAround
As for anonimity, you can use special proxy site like Pagewash, Hidemyass and so on. They are limited in terms of working with encrypted links and some other stuff but good enough for usual stuff.

as user8453 said, censorship by search engines is their prerogative. you can search for 'those' terms by typing them and pressing enter, but you won't get the usual page suggestions or autocomplete feature on 'those' queries.
here's a list of some such words, as far as google is concerned, if you're interested: http://anonym.to/?http://www.2600.com/googleblacklist/
another useful link if you want to read google's policy on this: http://anonym.to/?http://mashable.com/2010/09/28/google-instant-blacklist/
as far as your own privacy is concerned, keep in mind that it is IMPOSSIBLE to completely hide yourself, as you are, at the end, connected to other computers when you are in a network. you can just add layers and go through tunnels, so to say!
this -> anonym.to - Tor is a useful program for this purpose.
