Already tried that. just takes me a to page where I have to answer some questions, and after that i get a message to conact staff for help recovering my password. So back to square one

PM me your email address and username if you want to, I'll request a mod there to resend your password.

Correction: The message actually says that I should contact staff for help revovering my account, not my password.

Actually their official password recovery link "recover.php" is down!! The only way now is contacting a mod via IRC.

OK, mabuse. I hope kingscorpion solves this problem for you, but if he can't there is another way.
Assuming that their password recovery tool is faulty, what you need to do is go to their IRC Help Channel and talk to some people over there. The reason you "don't seem to be able to join the irc help channel" is probably because you don't have a registered username.

So you need to register you username. The way to do that is quite simple:
1. First, start your client and connect to the P2P-net servers by typing: /server irc.p2p-network.net;
2. Next, you need to register your nickname with IRC services: /msg NickServ REGISTER password email , replacing with your password and email, obviously;
3. Then you need to identify yourself by typing /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password;
4. And in the end you type /join #waffles.fm-help.

Make sure that your using the same nick as your username on the tracker.
Also make sure that the password you are using is neither your T-I password, or your Waffles password. Create a new password that you will use for this IRC.

Talk to someone over there and they will help you recover your account.
