Default low power setting while afk

so, im recently super active with downloading and seeding stuff, and i feel like im consuming too much energy while just downloading and seeding. is there anyway to put my desktop pc in a low power setting while still downloading and seeding? are there any legit steps to take?

    thanks!

Hi panamangix, You can check your power settings, which you probably allready know about ?

Right click desktop, left click personalize, click screen saver, then click
    change power settings..
You could also check administrative tools in control panel, system configuration, and see whats running in background and in start up.

I hope this helps good luck, turning off display is a good idea

you can create customizing hardware profile to disable hardware like bluetooth, wireless, hibernating, standby etc. so you will have two profiles one is the default and the other is the customized you can select between them after booting pc and before login just press space, you will get two profiles, you can select between them.

i hope this solve the issue,

You can also consider buying a NAS (Network Attached Storage). They can accept 1, 2 or 4 hard drives (even more, depends on the model) and essentially act as a file server for your hard drives. Most of them (well at leasty Synology and Qnap models) come with bittorrent clients, these things don't take much power, less than a PC.
