Thread: Question for those without a seedbox

Let's say you don't have seedbox like me and you need to raise your ratio let's say in IPT for example, are you really leaving the computer on for days or you got a trick? 'cause I have already uploaded something like 10GB and it took quite much resources(speed of my internet,electricity,time...). If your solution is really leaving your computer on for days than I think it's better for me to return to direct download and that's it. Although many people said to me that it is easy to upload ,I think it's impossible for me 'cause I can upload in something like 40kb max and this happens rarely.(there's speedtest down below).

I guess you could always start up your BT client when you boot up your PC. Even before my proactive use of seedboxes and servers, I'd always leave my PC on for weeks.

DDLs will be expensive...you pay for seedbox and you can utulize the buffer for months

Before having a seedbox, I used to run my computer 24/7!! utorrent set to run at start up and BIOS set to start the PC whenever it gets power, no passwords!!

Great idea. I liked it.

I leave my PC on with uTorrent open 24/7, to me it is the best way to increase upload I can manage to get all torrents to required ratio or higher in 2-3 days if they are not popular.

Just download things carefully, cross seed after downloading same thing from other trackers like demonoid, will help to increase you ratio. For IPT specially, just concentrate on freeleech pack, then you should not have any problem.

I'm using a seedbox and my home HTPC (low power atom) 24/7 to seed, so far it is great.

I dont have a seedbox, so what i do is has soon has my pc starts, utorrent starts when win7 loads. Of course if you have only the pc turned on for about 5 minutes, it wont upload much.
