Where did the "Thanks" button go??
Hello,
Few minutes ago when I tried to thank a post, I realized that there is no thanks button to press lol
I thought there must be something being carried out on that button so it may have been taken out temporarily but when I discussed this issue with other members on IRC, I found out that they can see/use it fine o.0
Would someone please help me out with this? :)

Have you tried the simplest solution of all? Clear the cache and delete the cookies? See if a re-login will make things display correctly for you on the site. Sometimes when the cookie expires for me the pages on the website chop for me.
I have the same problem. When I visited the site this morning my thanks button was gone and it still is. I've cleared the cache, deleted the cookies and I've logged out and in again but my thanks button is still gone.
Every journey has its end and I've come to mine.
When I registered at this site I never thought that I would stay this long and recieve all the fantastic invites I've recieved. I've had a great time here and I feel really privileged to have been a part of this great community.
When I was promoted to the Exalted I felt that I had done everything that I could do on this site so I've come to the conclusion that it is time for me to leave. Maybe I'll come back someday but for now this is good bye.
I would like to thank all the members that have given me invites and I would also like to thank all the members that have taken good care of the invites I've given them.

I had the same problem for a few hours. Just came back home and everything is fine now.
Edit: Again my "Thanks" button disappeared after giving 2 consecutive thanks'es .

I think the system has reverted back to "5 thanks a day" system.
I used up my 5 thanks, now i can't see the buttons.
maybe a bug.
EDIT: i mean previously the system allowed only 5 thanks per person per day. I'm not sure when the unlimited thanks came into play, but it seems it has gone back to the old system.
I have also thanked 2 more times now totaling 7 for the day. buttons gone, this looks like a bug.

Ok, So that nutcase button came back after some hrs & I was able to leave some thanks today but after that, it has disappeared again!
And I figured out from my thanks history that the system currently allows only "23 thanks" to be given out in a day!
Pretty less huh?
P.S: I also think that the thanks system has been re-written according to different user classes!
Update: It's back after wandering around for like an hour xD

Yeap the problem happened with me yesterday, and i thought it was only me.
As it turns out everyone is experiencing problems. Mine is working just fine at the moment so i'll see what happens.
I'm sure this will get fixed soon, or we will be informed about what is happening.
