We will need some more info to help you.

Is the laptop powering up and working fine?

Are the keys working as they should be?

If both answers are yes you can just turn off your machine and
wipe off the juice with PC cleaning solution.

Else, just post what is wrong.

Oh, man, that's not good. I remember visiting one of my friends and i spilled Cola on his laptop. The guy didn't even care. About this little pickle you find yourself in: open your notebook to have a look inside and check the temperatures. But you definitely need a new keyboard. Hope you solve your problem.

hello Koven, sorry to here your bad luck,
first thing i think is find out if your covered for accidental damage with
    your contents insurance..
you could maybe also use something like acetone which does evaporate
very quickly leaving a clean surface behind obviously with laptop powered
down, do some googling to be happy whith what ever you attempt.

    good luck..

This may sound weird but I used this method to fix my laptop when my friend did the same thing to mine.

-Take the battery out of the laptop and press the power button a few times. Then let the laptop sit for like a hour and press the power button again holding it for 10 seconds. Goal here is to remove all power from the machine.

-Take any type of all purpose cleaner and soak a wet rag with it. Ring out the cloth so its damp and no water is dripping.

-Scrub your laptop where the soda is covering/anything thats sticky. Don't be afraid to really get in there just don't crack anything. Make sure to not let liquid run (hence the damp rag part). Let dry for a hour or so.

-Get a damp cloth with just water and wipe down the laptop again to remove all of the cleaning solution you let dry. Wait 15 min and check the laptop. If there are still sticky parts redo the process until all of the stick is gone.

-After your final wipe down. Let the laptop sit for 2-3 hours. The goal here is to make sure ALL liquid is evaporated from the machine.

-Once your sure all the liquid is gone. Put the battery back in and operate the laptop as normal.

This can be a tidy process but it was worth it as my laptop is now back to its original form. Use q-tips for harder to reach areas (within the keyboard keys etc).

    Hope it helps, good luck!

If the keyboard keeps working there is no major damage

Just clean very well the keyboard and between buttons the best you can. It should be fine. My colleague drop a cup of coffee over his laptop a mopth ago. Now the laptop is still working....:)

hey man you can find just the keyboard for components and switch it yourself if you fancy yourself a handyman xD or else you could get like a tissue, thread it through the gaps and painstakingly wipe it bit by bit, haha, yea not fun - have you tried a steam cleaner? I know the heat and water is an issue but if the moisutre amounts to, say, ONE dropp of water you could do it spray byt spray waiting for the water to evaporate so you dont short circuit your laptop? : ) Just suggesting, please, note I've never actually tried using as team cleaner to clean pc components.

Everything depends also from how much you want to spend...
to do a good cleaning with some alcohol is free, to change a keyboard it costs some amount of money

Laptop parts are usually way overpriced compared to their desktop counterparts. Generally speaking, with cleaning anything computer-related (especially when dealing with exposure to internal parts) best bet is to use some sort of alcohol that'll evaporate quickly (cleaning power of water -- and often better -- without the residue) and *importantly* make sure you do all your wiping with a lint-free cloth of some sort.

I'm a big fan of Isopropyl Alcohol. Ask at your local chemist... and make sure you get a high concentrate (99% or 99.5%). You might get a strange look and some queries as to why you need it but just say you use it to clean electronics and they shouldn't really question that (in my experience, anyway). For cheap, lint-free cloth buy a 50-pack (or whatever) of coffee filters (seriously!). These things work wonders but can be a little bit annoying to use sometimes, especially on an uneven surface like a keyboard. Alternatively, just buy any old cloth that specifically mentions being lint-free (i.e. glasses cleaning cloth) and go to town.

Depending on the laptop, it may be better to clean with the keys on or keys off. You can usually 'pop' them off pretty easily by prying something underneath them but I'd be careful with this (especially around the larger keys such as enter/spacebar/etc) as they can sometimes be hard to get back on properly (depending on the clips beneath them etc). If you're unsure, give it an initial wipedown and see how it goes... failing that, it may be worth pulling the keys off.

Finally, as previously mentioned, a good scrub can work wonders as well... I've done my fair share of motherboard scrubbings and so forth... but I'm still a little hesitant with laptops so make sure you're certain you want to go down this route.
