Thread: Waffles Help

I need some advice, I have had my Waffles invite privileges revoked due to inviting a possible ration cheater who has been banned.

Now unless this turns out to be a big missunderstanding, my invite ability is no more. I was just wondering has anyone been in this position? and is it possible to have invites privileges reinstated? if so what do i need to do.

Sorry to hear about that you lost your invite privilege , Ruud if you are banned for sending invite then only staff can help you in this problem , talk to waffles staff about this may be they look on problem and solve it , BTW in this case you will not get your invite privilege back , i think so, when you invite someone first make it clear he is going to take care of your invite or not .

So m8 i will suggest you go to IRC and state your problem and staff will decide you will get back your privilege or not

On thanks for advice, I will be getting in touch with mods via irc. Also how do they feel towards T-I, i was going to be honest and say i handed the invite out here in a invite giveaway, would that be a good idea?

This is a good question I'd like to have T-I's take on the matter.

I hate to be the bearer of your bad news, but I can't see you getting you invite privileges back if your invitee indeed was ratio cheating. Why have rules if you're not going to enforce them? It sucks dude, but atleast you still have your account.

Also I haven't come across any Private Torrent sites that approve of T-I or any torrent invite site. Many of them ban for publicly giving away invites. I will say you should always been honest on the IRC help chats with any site, honesty will get you a hell of a lot further than lying. However with that said I probably wouldn't release any info that they don't ask for, as I assume they will view you publicly giving away your invites/to people you do not know personally as being reckless and not taking care of your account.

If you were to take a look at our rules here, you would see that you're not to reveal to tracker staff that you've received your invite from T-I.

As for the invites coming back, I'd try and talk it out in their #Help IRC first, but It sounds like you need to accept that they're gone and that you aren't banned. Bad things can happen sometimes and I've certainly been there, but it's just something you need to sort of accept in your mind before inviting someone you're uncertain of.


Also, who was this person you invited?

Another to note is some trackers do cooperate with TI for recruitment purposes. You'd have to check out the recruitment section to learn more.
