    I'm really just posting to back up what others have said about seedbox+FTP option. They really aren't expensive anymore and your download speeds will be way faster then your university connection through wifi.

    You could try changing the listening port on your bittorrent application to port 443 ( http over ssl (https) ) and force encryption on, there's a small chance that would work. ( But most likely not. )

    The best case scenario from doing that is that users could connect to you, but you wouldn't be able to connect them back, you'd also need to proxy tracker communications. I haven't used Vuze in a very long time, but I think there's an option to proxy only tracker coms.
