Has my IP been banned by TI?
Recently I cannot visit the website of TI with my computer. At the begginning I thought the server was down, but soon I realized my IP was blocked, because I can visit the site with the computers in somewhere else.
I have no problems with visiting all the other webs except TI's. Has my IP address been banned? I didn't do anything wrong. Or my ISP did it?
Anybody can explain this to me? Thanks!
Your IP isn't banned via vBulletin, although you might have triggered the firewall somehow. Please stay tuned while we figure this out. It shouldn't be more than a few hours to a day. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I had a similar thing going on around the end of August. Happened when I had ~10 tabs of t-i open (lol). Too many requests to the server?
Yes it was a firewall block. Unfortunately it can be a little too sensitive at times. We upgraded it last month and are still in the process of rewriting the filters that cause false alarms.
You both should be good to go now. Let us know if anyone else runs into a similar problem.
