I was using explorer, I wanted to delete a folder there but didn't noticed that the entire torrents folder was marked in the folders pane on the left.
I did the Ctrl+Del on it.

    NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most thing I can recover but I don't even remember what I had there...

Stupid me, is there anything to do guys?

    Thanks.

If you still have the .torrent file, look at the details in your client and download the files again, from other tracker if you on't want to lower your ratio. About the files, I don't know if there's a way to bring back your files :(

Try system restore, you may get lucky.

And you may have a restore option in your security program, check into that.

You can try to recover the files with some software. Years ago, I deleted some important files and I successfully recovered them with a software.
You can try Easy Recovery Pro, but make sure u havn't write any data to the disk after u deleted the torrents, otherwise, u have to redownload them.
    Click EasyRecoveryPro
    to download

    Good luck!

Not sure about recovering the actual data, maybe ehao's method may work. But if you want to know what torrents you had, you could go on to the trackers you used and check the snatch list. Some trackers even allow you to download all the .torrents in the snatch list as well.

When you delete something that way, you're bypassing the recycle bin, so, rather than go through the lengthy process or trying to remove the information, it just removes the partition information from it. This means that all the information is still there, but, nothing is saying where it should be located as far as in your file system.

Believe it or not, Ctrl+Z sometimes can fix this, but, only right after it, and I'm willing to bet it's too late for you.

Here's something important though. That information is going to be some of the first stuff to be rewritten. So, everything you're downloading is permanently erasing your old files. So, stop any downloading, browsing, etc, that might be creating new files on your PC.

I'm not sure about ehao's solution, but, I generally don't trust programs with "Pro" in the name.

I'm not sure if you've ever heard of ccleaner, but, I really like their company, and they make a free, excellent file recovery tool called Recuva. It's a stupid name, but, a good program. I'd recommend trying it out if you think it could help. If the thing ehao linked to looked better, try that. But do something as soon as possible!

Another excellent tool I've used in the past was ZAR, but, I can't remember what it stands for, and it took a long time. It's more for corrupted files, but, I imagine it could find anything that is still intact.

Anyhow, good luck, and let me know how it goes! I'll try to keep checking this thread in case you need more help.
...with warm summer eyes... that flickered like fireflies... and she stared at the world...

And these nights I get high just from breathin'... when I lie here with you, I'm sure that I'm real, like that firework over the freeway...

    Are you sure CTRL+Z works?

I just tried to delete something (CTRL+DEL), did the CTRL+Z but it didn't do anything.

As for the data I lost, I will recover :)

I was just interested to know if there is anything to do in a situation like this.

    Thanks a lot guys.

System Restore only backs up your Windows files, no chance of recovering downloaded torrents from it.

You might also wanna give Easus Data Recovery Wizard a shot.

Just on a note. All those recovery softwares only can recover data with in a certain period of use. So you want to try them asap.
