Thread: Don't have a clue!!

Well I joined this site because of a interest in finding out what torrent sites were out there and of course the possibility of getting a invite. But so far my experience is I really don't know what to do to achieve the objective. The forum section I thought I would go to which is the one where you request invites is not accessible for me and I don't really know where I get the information to be able to. Its sort of playing a adventure game which is frustrating at best.

Now before you feel that I am negative about the site that would not be true! I am just concerned about my inability to crack the code.

Any and all assistance would be welcomed.

There's no cracking the code. The locked sections are all related to your post count, membership duration, and reputation points.

Just roam the forums and post in threads that interests you. Make the posts appealing, helpful, relevant to the original post, and perhaps lengthy. These are the posts that tends to earn you 'thanks' or 'rep' from other members. Spamming, on the other hand, will tear you apart and there are various members here waiting to prey on newbies (I might be kidding, but who knows).

All I can really say is simply enjoy the site and the sections you want into will unlock on their own. Right now, it seems like you're only here to grab some invitations and leave. Not a very good way to represent yourself. I know that's usually the main goal/focus when someone joins this site, but it's always better to contribute a little before making your requests. I don't mean by handing out invitations of your own, but the useful posts I've mentioned earlier.

Perhaps, help some users in the Help section like what I'm doing right now. All of this will easily earn you some rep and move you forward in the community.

You could always check out the Low-level Give-Away section and see if there are available invites there. Check out the tracker reviews to determine whether or not the tracker is of interest, then apply to the corresponding threads. After that, the mid-level, trusted, and tracker recruitment sections should unlock for you. That's where more appealing tracker invites are given out.

The links Passarinho pasted are good ones and you should definitely have a read.

Oh and perhaps you should get an avatar. I don't know if it's just me, but I hardly ever hand out invitations to someone who doesn't even want to append an avatar to their username.

You should also read the tracker reviews thread to get an idea of the sites you wish to join, and then search giveaways. If you still dont find it there, you can make a request after you have followed the advice posted above and have reached the required level.

not only in giveaways but in the open trackers post maybe after reading a review and deciding what kind of tracker you are looking for you can search and find out if it is open for sign ups or if one similar is open for sign ups. There are also give aways in the forum right now where all you have to do is ask and get an invite.
