Seeding is great for old PCs...I have an old Athlon XP for doing all my seeding...filled with old hard drives too :)
MP3 player is great if you hook it up to a stereo.
1.4ghz speed is not bad at all. You can probably get cheap RAM to boost it up to 512MB or even 1024MB and it will run very well.
