Thread: laptop password problem

Do either what the guy above me what the Homer Simpson avatar said (download/burn/install whatever windows your machine can handle, but only 7 or XP. Stay away from Vista), or download ophcrack. It has rainbow tables and comes in the form of a linux livecd if you'd like it, but, there's also an EXE.

I'm a bit wary about this, as it sounds more like you stole someone's computer, but, if you have it, there's not likely anything anyone here can do, or any way we'd be able to tell for sure. So, good luck, I suppose. :P

here's a good guide to preparing and writing everything onto an installable usb, I used this and had nop probs at all.
Best best is to always do a fresh install anyhow:-
