Thread: How can I give positive rep and thanks to the person who repped me in?

I was repped in yesterday and I really appreciate the guy. So I want to give him positive rep and thanks, but I searched a lot of instructions here and still don't know how to do it?

Can I do that? If I can, how can I do it? Pls help!

I even can't find the +/- button at the end of his post in my introduction thread, so how can I give him thanks.
I tried to rep him, but I was required to fill in the feedback form and I have to choose from 'receiver', 'inviter' and 'trades are not allowed'. Which one should I choose? The reason I rep him is for repping me in and not for invites.

You can't give rep or thanks yet because you are not 33%, which is stated in the FAQ which I linked to.

That mean if somebody give me invites, I can't give rep and thanks to him or her?

You can after 7 days and 5 rep points + 50 posts, but you can and should Igiver them. You can always go back after those requirements ae filled and rep them,.

Edit: the thanks button used to show after you had 5 posts, don't know if thats still true.

The one where you need to fill out the forms is iGiver. You should only give iGiver points if you got an invite from someone. You give rep by clicking on the 'Thank' button located at the bottom-right part of their post. There's also another button to add rep below their rep bar but I've never used that one before.

I think you need to have a certain amount of rep or rep power before you can rep someone. Also, the FAQ is a little outdated. It says you have to be 33% to give thanks/rep but I can do it now and I'm still 10%.

What problem. You've repped and thanked them. Have you left Igiver? I see you have. So there is nothingleft.
