    Hey,

I'm just wondering if anybody knows if this is possible or not. With utorrent, you can relocate files, meaning the files on your pc don't have to have the same name as the files listed in the .torrent. Can this be done with rtorrent?

If you look through the plug ins that the rutorrent webui has you will find one that adds that function to the context menu. Just as it appears in utorrent, with perhaps a slightly different wording.

I read through the various plugins recently. So I know it is there. However, if you are only using the rtorrent cmd line client then I don't know if it is possible.

Hope this helped, rather than muddled things up.

I'm surprised no one has answered the cmd line for rtorrent. Ya there is a command for rtorrent through SSH that will move files for you when completed. Here's the ArchLinux wiki on how to do it:
    RTorrent - ArchWiki
Look for: "Automatically Move Completed Torrent Data to 'Completed' Folders"

I don't think it's the best guide but it does give you an idea that it can be done.
