Haha yes that is the best way. Though the data stream to your computer is still considered piracy. Because you're illegally receiving software you have not purchased. Much like stealing cable or satellite. Sure the signal is in the air, but it's not yours to take.

One other 'safe' way is to encrypt the data. This way if someone is watching your data stream, they won't be able to decode what it is your transferring, unless they have a warrant to search your machine. But that requires probable cause.

Sort of like the notion of brown bagging alcohol. You cover the booze in a brown bag and no one knows what's inside so you can drink freely on the streets. Unless the police have a reason to search your brown bag. But they need a probable cause - i.e. you acting drunk.

what VPN do you use?

I used a vpn but it doesn't support torrents. but i worked with a free swedish Vpn i don't remember its name and the torrents work on so fine.

An ipfilter.dat file is something I always use, even though I'm on private trackers.

Google 'ipfilter.dat emule pawcio' for the file I prefer.

Plugging it in to uTorrent is easy.

You can also encrypt data on you hd using Truecrypt

I largely agree with sly, and diegocross. But no one is talking about downloading anything illegal of course.. Merely the most secret way to transfer your private data. But yes I feel the "safest" way to keep your data private is using a seedbox in another country, then transfering it via an encrypted protocol like ftp. That's definitely the way to go I say.
