    GENERAL RULES

    • Your Torrent-Invite (T-I) username must be completely different to any/all of your tracker usernames. Do not use a nickname that is even remotely similar (e.g. JohnDoe --> JohnDo123). Additionally, usernames must not use leet speak i.e. LiEkDiS. Usernames may not contain vulgarity or offensive words.

    • Do not use an email to receive invites that contains your T-I username. e.g. JohnDoe@gmail.com when your username at Torrent-Invites.com is JohnDoe.

    • No selling or trading of invites is allowed. This includes trading on other websites. Invites must be given freely with nothing demanded in return. Anyone caught trading will be banned.

    • Only members who have reached 55% may work in the introduction section! Do not post in this section until you have reached 55%! This applies to brand new VIPs and Donators as well.

    • Do not ask where to find copyrighted materials, such as a specific movie or game. For instance, do not ask us where to locate "Pulp Fiction". T-I is strictly an invite forum - what you do with those invites is your business but T-I cannot support or encourage piracy of any kind.

    • Do not ask for an invite to a tracker that you have been banned from or disabled at UNLESS you warn the inviter when you request the invite.

    • Do not give away accounts (only invites).

    • Do not ask for an invite for yourself and then forward it to someone else.

    • Do not ask people for invites via PM without their permission.

    • Do not ask for or demand reputation anywhere for anything whatsoever.

    • Do not create duplicate T-I accounts.

    • Ratio proofs must be properly edited. Please see our Ratio Proof Tutorial for instructions on how to edit them.

    • Wait 24 hours before bumping / double posting an Intro.

    • Wait 48 hours before bumping / double posting in the rest of the forum.

    • Do not ask for or offer invites in the Intro section.

    • Do not use a proxy server!

    • Do not lie about your location (country).

    • Do not send Friendship Requests from the Intro section.

    • Do not reveal your email address publicly (only via PM).

    • Do not tell tracker staff that you received an invite from T-I.

    • Do not advertise another invite site in any posts, replies, topics, signatures, PM's or emails.

    • No flaming other members.

    • Use your rep power responsibly. Do not neg rep people into oblivion, or groan a thread that has already been groaned a couple of times.

    • Signatures may not be longer than 5 single spaced lines (10 lines for VIPs and Exalted members). Signatures may not contain gratuitous vulgarity.

    • Do not use gratuitous language on the forums. We rarely censor posts but excessive swearing will not be tolerated. Use discretion, please.

    • Do not hijack other peoples threads.

    • Do not fight with Staff or tell them what to do.

    • Do not argue with an infraction. Accept it and learn from it. Infractions are meant to teach, not punish.

    • Do not spam! All posts must be meaningful and add to the conversation.

    • No Ratio Cheating! Anyone caught cheating on a tracker will be banned from T-I.

Hijacking a thread is when you disrespectfully take over another member's thread by going off-topic from the original post.

Likely scenarios of hijacking are usually found in the Request and/or Help sections. A member hjiacks another member's thread by requesting for his own invite or asking for help on an irrelevant matter.

Ok, thanks. I've spent several hours reading through help sections trying to learn a ton of things all at once. I searched for "hijack" in the forums but only found posts that said not to do it. Perhaps I missed the definition somewhere but the tutorials & help menus seem to be spread out over several different threads and it's easy to get lost if you don't know your way around.

The rules were presented to you when you first made your introduction Introductions: Rules, FAQ and Registration Form

For your safety it's very important that your username is unique to this site and not remotely similar to anything you have used anywhere else. Since you're already 10% you may ask for a name change in IRC Join us on IRC or PM the staff (anyone in red)
Missing since March 3rd: If anyone has heard from our Japanese friend Oki, and knows if he is okay, please PM JustJenna. Thank you.
