Well it's easy to join Coexist and Waffles but if you want want some more high quality music then TranceTraffic,TranceRoute,What.cd,E***O and Pedro's BTMusic should do the trick.
is it hard to seed @ these sites?, can you survive wihtout a seedbox?

As a huge music lover i already did that question not a long time ago. The majority of fellows at T-I answered What and Waffles! If you want you can read the thread here Music trackers
Personally i'm not a member of any of those... But i'm in VipMusic and Libble. VipMusic is specialized in scene releases only, but has a big collection! I think the biggest problem is that they only have scene releases...
Libble has a good community, is ratio free, but the number of torrents, although respectable, can't compare with What or Waffles!
As for the torrent you're searching i couldn't find it in any of my private trackers neither public ones. But i found the album doing a Google search. Not in torrent file obviously.

im searching for some 90's hip hop.
to start im looking for a tribe called quest - anthology. much more common than ramp but can't find one.
looked up one from demonoid, but it was a bad copy, had some choppe beats idunno.

Searched in my 2 music trackers and found The anthology in Libble.
Maybe you wanna try this one! As i said it's ratio free (they have a special ratio system implemented by them) and easy to enter. At the moment i don't have any invite because i'm a recent member but i already saw some Libble giveaways here!

Actually, if you use to be a member of STMusic, you can access the music contents in SuperTorrents with the same account details.
If you're searching for a good music tracker, What.CD and Waffles are your best choices. BTW, I tried to search for the torrents you are looking for and I found it on What.CD available in FLAC and MP3 format. I's really easy to join What.cd as long as you prepare for the interview.
I'm not a member of Waffles so I'm just gonna tell you about seeding on What.cd. If you don't have a seedbox it would be hard if you're seeding an old torrent. If you have music at home that you are willing to share, then you can survive definitely.
