Thread: Seeding to two or more private trackers at once

Hey,

I just need a bit of help. I've been trying to seed my own torrents to two private trackers at once without success, they only seed to one, while the other tracker fails to recognise the torrents, so they appear seedless on that site. I'm using rtorrent, if that makes a difference.

Here's an outline of what I've tried. If I'm doing something wrong please let me know.

• I've tried creating the torrent with the two trackers listed, then uploading this torrent to both trackers. This won't work for me.
• I've tried creating two individual torrents, each with one tracker, linking to the same file, and I load each one to each tracker, then load both torrent files into rtorrent, merging the tracker lists. This won't work, it'll only seed to one tracker.
• I've tried the above, but then creating a third torrent, as in my first point, containing both trackers, and loading this onto rtorrent. I get the same problem.

In the cases where I created two torrents, one with each tracker, I'd both torrents named the same, if this matters.

Does anybody have any idea what I might be doing wrong? I can't figure it out.

That's the closest one but you DONT merge the tracker list on your seedbox. There should be two separate torrents each pointing to 1 tracker. Upload each independent one to it's corresponding tracker and then when adding them to the seedbox they should show up as two different torrents. This is the proper way to upload the same release to two separate trackers.
