Thread: Need help with rar command line

Hii guys, i wanna create 200Mb split files from some stuff on my seedbox, saying in dir /home/admin/seedbox/Season.01/

inside this Season.01 directory, there are all the episodes, so when i use this command:

rar a "Season.01" -v200M -m0 "/home/admin/seedbox/Season.01/"*

it creates Season.01.part01.rar, etc, 200 MB big. The only problem i have, is when i open the archive, i see the full path, meaning first, an folder called /home/, next a folder called /admin/, next /seedbox/, and then finaly Season.01.



Would it be possible to create a rar that i only see /Season.01/ whe i open the splitfiles?

Try this:
rar a -ep1 "Season.01" -v200M -m0 "/home/admin/seedbox/Season.01"

-ep1 means: exclude base dir from names.
