Default Is it really hard to seed in What and Waffles?

    Hi guys!
First of all i would like to say that i hardly could see me life without music. Besides sports, it's one of the things that i enjoy more in life. My favourite genres probably are pop, rock, indie. A little bit of electronic and dance music.
From what other users said i think What and Waffles are the best music trackers out there. And also for my needs. I recently registered at Libble but although they are very nice there and have a very relax and great community, i think i need more.
But from what i've read there's something that worries me: seeding there. So i would like to ask members who have an experience at this trackers who answer these questions:
1 - Is it really hard to seed there?
2 - Do they have freeleech (i know waffles has)? Doesn't that help mantaining your ratio?
3 - Is there a way of register in What (they banned my country from their IRC interviews)?

Note: I don't have seedbox and always try to get music in mp3 format 192kbps.

im only familiar with waffles but I would say its hard to seed without a seedbox (which I do have) but the ratio requirements are set so it you are able to stay in good standing if you are active

I think What is more difficult then waffles to seed...

What.cd has no freeleech (Staff doesnt like to help members by giving free leech)

the only way is if there is your friend having what.cd invite then ask him otherwise no way..

    Thanx.. :D

WHAT is extremely hard to seed on, seedbox or not. It doesn't even matter if you have a nice collection of physical/digital music yourself - it's all been uploaded before. I managed to buffer my Waffles ratio pretty well via uploading Apps/Ebooks. Plus Waffles has alot more freeleech events than What. And if they have banned your country for interviews, does that mean they have banned your country from the site as well? If not your best bet would just to be getting an invite from somebody on here when they become available.

What only banned my country for the interviews, not for invites. Unfortunately they do not allow giving What invites here at TI.
What about Waffles? They don't have freeleech files all the time? Do you think it's easy surviving there or not?

What does have freeleech in fact its offered right now on specific torrents and site wide freeleech is offered periodically but I would have to say waffles is harder to seed on than what.

What.cd and waffles.fm both has freeleech torrents but it's for staff picks torrents only. what.cd can have site-wide freeleech only triggered by staff meanwhile waffles.fm can have site wide freeleech triggered by you own and for you only (via their bonus points).

But their freeleech torrents not helping much for your ratio because of huge number of seeder already unless you manage to jump on these torrents as early as possible when they're freeleech. Site wide freeleech is rare though.

So, best bet is having a seedbox or jump on new popular wannabe torrents as soon as possible or filled requests or uploading allowed scene stuff.

As for IRC banned country, you can join via your friend's invite but remember that they're banning inviter who happen to invite bad user. :(

I'm a member at both trackers and I have to say that yes they are very hard to seed.
I was lucky with my what account. I got my invite when the sidewide freeleech was on. I uploaded more 20 gbs back then and although i seed 24 hours/day i am still not a PU. As far as I know on what the sidewide freeleech is very rare but there are the staff picks. It means the staff chooses albums and make them freeleech. These albums usually have a lot of peers so for making a big buffer you need to have a very good internet connection or a seedbox.
In my opinion waffles in on the same level in this aspect. It has a bonus system that allows you to buy yourself a 24 hours freeleech or half leech and it has something similar to what's staff picks.
And even with these feature both sites are very hard to seed.

As a new member in waffles, i do confirm.... it is HARD to seed....(can't compare it to What though, not a member there..)

it's strange though... waffles do have a lot of members, but i see few leechers... u have to be in constant alert, so as soon as something good is up, grab it and keep uploading..

of course, of stated earlier, if u r uploading new staff, you have a better chance of surviving

    Default what & waffles

Didn't you try to upload some torrents to those sites? I suggest the only option you have is use a seedbox properly. I mean you must know how to select good torrents to seed.
