Default Can't post or update threads

    Hey there,

    I have a small problem.

Whenever trying to update or post a new thread with my stationary computer i get some problems. Firefox screen gets white (like an empty page) but the loading is still "finished" Somtimes i also get the "regular" errormessage that the site can be occupied or some other things.

Then i can go stright to my laptop and update the same post of for example post this thread.

I can say i havent tested much, mostly just emptying the cache/internetpage, but i dont really know where to start looking for problems.

    Any help would be appriciated.

    *EDIT*

    1. Have made some more testing, it dosent matter if i use firefox or IE.

    2. It seems to be only the bigger threads i have that wont work to update. mainly threads with more posts i guess. Just noticed that it didnt work to update this post on main computer.

    3. The page is in general running slow for me on this computer.

    4. As i meantioned all this things work on my laptop that is only half the computer then this one is (not that this is a monster tho)
. So it feels that it has to be something hooking up in some kind of way.

Could also possibly be an internet issue, maybe the traffic? Are you running any BitTorrent clients? I have that problem when my download speeds hit like 1.6MBps, or when my upload goes past 200kbps. All bandwidth is there, nothing else gets any.

Also, something else to look at, how is each computer connecting to the net? Both wired or wireless? Or one wired, one wireless?

I have a 10/10 line and i usually cap myself at 8mbit when im sitting here. Usually does most of the down/uploading on the seedbox tho. And i have tried with Utorrent off too.

The problemcomputer is on wire, and the one that works is on wireless.

In that case, grab a different Ethernet cable, and check that. Could be as simple as a faulty cable. That would be my first thought. Then again, I've been having problems with my router lately, and all my problems stem from that, so I suspect routers and cables now first. LOL

Its not the router that is messing up, the problem started yesterday, and today we changed the router. Not because of problems tho. Tried to change cable no luck.

Up and download speeds a no worries at all, can max them both out, so basicly what i have noticed so far only is problems with bigger posts here on T-I on this computer only:P

Hmmmmm.... In that case, I'm dumbfounded. I've got no clue.

On a completely unrelated note, that sentence is to be said with a Scottish accent. That's all.

Could just be a problem with the server at random times and they happen to coincide with your use of that computer? Highly unlikely, but hey...... weirder shit has happened.

It seems that i cant do anything on these forums that would involve bigger threads, bigger posts. Today ive noticed that i cant send PM's with alittle text in it and some ratioproofs.

Anyone that can have an idea what all this could be? I have also tried a third computer on the same network and no problems with any kind of updateing what so ever.
