Thread: Seeding in seedbox issue

I downloaded torrents from both demonois, and bitgamer because my ratios suck on both sites. After a day i had upped 60 or so to demonoid and 30 to bitgamer. I went to check both sites and it didnt update my upload amount. I've been checking and neither has been updated and its been a few days. Any ideas?

For Demonoid, it doesnt have passkey system. So u cannot using seedbox.

For Bitgamer, i'm not sure..

Try to do a manual update for BitGamer, I mean it should happen. Are you sure you are not using a banned client? Or the seedbox from a banned country? These are all the posibilities I could think of if it doesnt work then try contacting BitGamer support for help and also your SeedBox provider.

A new thing I learned, Demonoid does not have passkey system, does that mean you can never use a box for demonoid? Someone might be using a box for it? I mean there must be a way out...? Is there?

The way around demonoid is you have to use your seedbox as a proxy. Access the site with your proxy, browse a little bit and in a few minutes it saves your IP address. You must ALWAYS access demonoid from your seedbox in order for this to work properly. My other thoughts on bitgamer lie with what Charizard said.

What if I dont have root-access to my seedbox but only to ruTorrent? However I do have a VPN from my seedbox provider, so will that do. I use the VPN login to demonoid and then download and upload after browsing for a few minutes? Will it then count into my ratio?

As long as you are browsing the website under your seedbox IP address you'll be fine. Whether through VPN or a Proxy.

thanks guys, but how do i surf through the seedbox, can someone point me in the direction of a tut or tell me how?

Depends on what browser you are using, but it's rather simple. I'm sure your seedbox provider has a tutorial on there site, or you can email support. But here is my seedbox providers tutorial: Xirvik Torrent - it should be the same for you. You just need to provide your seedbox IP address and port number.

This does work on Demonoid, but I am not sure about bitgamer.

Yes, I'm sure the Bitgamer issue is probably the same thing. I know that if you have torrents going and your ip address changes, you get errors saying your ip doesn't match the one on record, meaning you have to log into the site with that ip and then it works.
