Thread: Seedbox downloaded torrent but wont seed

I just got a seedbox on iSeedbox.net, and i downloaded a torrent to it from iptorrents. After it finished downloading it didnt start seeding, and i've ben waiting for about 20 minutes, and still nothing. It uses torrentflux by the way.

Sometimes I have the same "problem"(with a seedbox from another company).. I believe that it happens because there are too few leechers and other people with better seedboxes connect to them. I'd suggest you if you have some free hard disk space, to download torrents which are freeleech and many people want them. Some examples at the moment are: "Backroom Casting Couch SITERIP" or "The Best Movies MegaPack Part 1".

If the seedbox does never connect with someone else to upload, then you propably have a real problem and I have no idea how to help you.

Well if you are downloading some pack or something maybe the leeches are partial leeches...or maybe there are too many seeders.....

if you want to check your upload try grabbing a latest torrent and see..

That aside, to rule out things like partial seeders or no leechers, try to grab a movie that was posted recently. Right now Clash of the Titans TS 2010 TS DVDR would be a good choice as it was only posted ~10 minutes ago and has a good seeder to leecher ratio (1:15) and will almost assuredly pick up more leechers. If you get no upload off that or something similar, contact your seedbox provider for technical support.

querico thats true, as you know private tracker suffers from a problem of more seeds and less leech making the upload speed low... This applies specially for a torrent that is 2 to 4 days old....//

1) Best idea, is to pick up a free leech (that atleast wont hit your download, and other user like to partial download it), or a big pack, or a torrent upped recently... All with a condition of less seeds and more leeches, then download them, and start uploading.... You will definitely get good speeds,

2) And don't stop the torrent in b/w, I am saying this bcoz.... torrent is based on swarm set and peers connected to a swarm gives more priority to download from it, Rather a new seed peer coming out??

PS: Dont think of downloading stuffs you like on seedbox, use the above logic only, else you will land up screwing your ratio, rather than buffering your account../

Just take care of these points, and you will definitely get good buffer??
