Thread: Help needed from veteran SCC users (or anyone who can help).

I was invited to SCC 2 weeks back and I knew it was difficult to seed there, within 30 secs from when a new torrent was released (~300 MB) it would have at least 20+ seeders, right now what I am doing is I have setup irssi with the scc auto download script (the fastest way to get new torrents). I have set it to download everything in the freeleech section and I only filter it using the size and not the content.

In your case set this up and then make utorrent watch a specific folder for new torrent files and limit utorrent's download rate to half of your max speed as your box isnt full duplex.

This has worked for me perfectly, I have to login to the box after a few hours and delete all the torrents and it works great, within 2 weeks I have uploaded 300gb. It is all automated =)

you can allways setup the scc auto download script on your computer.

You have in the SCC forums all the help you need and if you want some more help please let me know.

One more thing I forgot: the best to seed are scc mp3/0day big packs. For example pack has 20Gb, you download 100Mb of it. Then every person who start downloading it, downloads it from you, but as I said, you must be fast :)

Again, thank you very much guys. I will take all the advices and learn from it. Just an update, by downloading bunch of free leeches, my ratio is well above 1 now.

nublet, you are right. I know SCC has a lot of uploaders from various trackers who are using script to download material from SCC and then upload to their own trackers. IMHO, it will me almost impossible to maintain a 1.00 ratio without freeleech and script. I will definitely look into how to automatically do things.

lolek: yes, I will try that partial music downloading, thanks.

This is all you have to do; do look in the archive section and try to be the first downloaders on a torrent. you should get 20GB or more for each torrent :).

Thanks BlueSeed. Had I known the archives are free leech, I wouldn't be this panic and came here and asked for help. Seeding archives easily gave me close to 100G upload, it was really easy. Thank you for all your help. This thread can be closed if the mod chose to.
