Banned means you no longer have access to posting within the forum. In most cases, this is temporary but if you screw up badly enough, it will be permanent.

Banned members cannot post while banned. ScottK was banned after making that post. In his case, it's temporary.

The post count issues seems to be buggy. We are working on that.
