    Default SCC help

    hi guys,

    Now that i've an account in SCC, i've to set up the mIRC Autodownload Script (with Webui!) to upload automatically the torrents to the box i've boughted two days ago.

    I've downloaded the script that they have in the forums and i'm in the channels of irc.

    Anyone can help me please??

    I need to buffer that account

    Are you using a seedbox with the UTorrent Web UI? I think its better you post on SCC forums they'll get back to you really quickly. Most of the scripts only work if you have a UTorrent Web GUI.

    Depending if the script has ftp support u can use any webui u wish as long as the torrent client has an auto load function. Also there is no need to post in the scc forums cause i can easily help.

    Ok, so what part of the script u having trouble with? Do u have webui enabled, username, password, ip, etc.. correctly edited in your ini file and are both the script and config file in the right directory? Did u load the script properly? Also are u using noname script in mIRC by any chance? Please tell me exactly what part your having trouble with so i can help u.

    I'm dealing with some trouble with:

    - the configuration of filters and categories,
    - torrent dir (i've to change whatthey put there???)
    - the username and pass that i've to put there in the script is the same that when i login into the webui or the ones that i login into the ftp???

    Ok cool. Im gonna start with your third question first then work my way up:

    - Yes, u need to put the username and password of your webui into the ini file. Dont use your FTP password & username.

    - There's no need to put anything for torrent dir in the ini file cause u are using webui, so u can leave that blank. Thats only to be used if u are using your home utorrent. Make sure webui is set to 1 though in the ini file.

    mIRC dir depends on what Windows OS u are using. For example if u are using XP u need to put the .txt & .ini files in this directory > \Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\mIRC. However, the best way to find out your mIRC dir would be to type this in mIRC and hit enter //echo $mircdir Once u do that, mIRC will tell u the directory and that would be where to put both the script and config file. Then load the script in mIRC by typing this /load -rs scc.txt

    - creating filters is very easy and i will give u some examples. First find the category u want to use, in my example im gonna use movie/xvid, then if u want to use filters use the wildcard * and seperate each release with ; For example:

    # this will download all movie/xvid releases
    [Movies/XviD]
    filters=*

    # this will use a filter for movie/xvid releases and only dl certain releases
    [Movies/XviD]
    filters=Its.Complicated*;The.Road*;The.Green.Mile* ;ScR*;CAM*;

    # this will use except on all movie/xvid, to leave out releases u dont want dl'd
    [Movies/XviD]
    filters=Its.Complicated*;The.Road*;The.Green.Mile* ;ScR*
    except=*CAM*

    # this will use a size filter on movie/xvid for releases only over 700mb
    [Movies/XviD]
    filters=Its.Complicated*;The.Road*;The.Green.Mile* ;ScR*
    except=*CAM*
    sizefilter=> 700

    # u can use anything u want out of all examples and mix anything u want as well. I gave u examples of all different ways they can be used. Hope this helps and if u have anymore questions dont hesitate to ask.

    the last thing that i've to ask you, i think.

    I've to put this???

    # this will use a size filter on movie/xvid for releases only over 700mb

    Or delete everything like this:

    ;-------------------------------------------;
    ; EXAMPLE CONFIG FOR SCC AUTODOWNLOADER 1.1 ;
    ;-------------------------------------------;

    And only have in the ini file the configurations??

    No, u can leave everything in there if u want, but u could also delete that stuff as well. There is no need to delete anything from the ini file, unless u really want to. When u see a # or ; at the beginning of the line, it usually means that line is commented out, so it will not do any harm. U could even put notes in the ini file to remind yourself of something if u wanted to. As long as its commented out, it is fine.
