My ratio had changed when I logged in this morning, for the first time ever since Demonoid got back online and I had already downloaded some torrents from Demonoid... so maybe once in a week or so I dont know exactly. Or it could even be random.
Just wait for it a little bit longer and if it keeps unchanged then I would mail a Demonoid mod and ask about this, maybe he can give you some info.

Demonoids ratio has not been accurate at any time within my years of membership. I could speculate on the reasons, but with their server downtime history do I really need to?

I switched torrent clients from Vuze to Deluge and my ratio has been updating just fine for the past two days. What torrent clients are you guys using?

Demonoid wont start the passkey system for several reasons: First, ratio means nothing there & staff dont care about your ratio, so whats the point in putting in a new system if ratio doesnt mean anything. Second, u can download Demonoid torrents from several different index sites without being an actual member of Demonoid, so starting a passkey system would complicate things and force them to be more private. Third, if they did implement the passkey system it will be much more work for staff and also put much more strain on there servers and in time may cost them more money to operate. Last and the most important, they are a public tracker.

The bottom line is if your ratio isnt updating then just forget about it and move on. The system wont be fixed anytime soon cause they have no reason to fix it. Your ratio means nothing more then bragging rights & what others think about u.

Eschaton is absolutely right with this point. But it hardly works.

One more I can add is,
Demonoid uses External trackers a lot. So if your torrent is one, the statistics wont count.

And anyways, I haven't heard yet the Demonoid users are terminated for ratio problems. So bother not :)
